Brief
High-end aesthetics
The Client was refurbishing their entire apartment and wanted to achieve an integrated high quality Audio and Visual system throughout the property and Control4 smart home operation for lighting, curtains, blinds and the AV system.
The design needed to provide the desired high performance, but had to blend seamlessly into the high end aesthetics which were being created by the Interior Designer. Consequently, the AV and control system design started at a very early stage, so to detail out all of the intricate details and infrastructure routing.
Initial Design Concepts
One of the most important and challenging areas was a discrete surround sound system and TV within the Living Room area, which worked within a marble fireplace, flanked each side by bespoke joinery. With exacting requirements of the AV interfacing with the high end decorative features, we created a 3D design model to ensure all of the hidden and interfacing equipment worked with the bespoke marble and joinery.

INSTALLATION
The first phase of the installation is cabling, which is not the most exciting part of the project, but it is essential that it is installed correctly and accurately. Most of the equipment is installed near the very end of the project, so all of the cabling within walls, floors and ceilings must be correct. With careful planning and detailed design, we ensure everything is installed as it should be.

COMPLETION
The completed project delivered on the Client’s Brief. With discrete Audio and Visual services throughout the apartment and full smart home control with the Control4 system. The Client’s bespoke programmed scenes, wall mounted keypads and touch screen control resulted in the Client’s apartment being at the cutting edge of technology and they could enjoy the smart home convenience and AV systems from the moment they walked through the door.
