This is the Open Day we have been waiting to host for nearly 10 years. Finally, our Audio Note Open Day here at The Audiobarn.
Saturday 25th October 2025 (10:00 – 16:00)
As much as we love our larger open plan demo room upstairs in the Threshing Barn, it never really allowed Audio Note to shine. The ceiling is too high, and these loudspeakers really do need smaller more typical spaces to perform at their best.
So with the arrival of Unit 3 two years ago, we were finally able to create our dedicated Audio Note Room, and our Classic room which also boast smaller more favourable acoustics.
So join us on Saturday 25th October for two rooms of fabulous Audio Note hi-fi. It’s going to be a fantastic day, with Audio Note themselves attending to help curate the systems and answer any more technical questions you may have. Plus our customary supply of drinks and nibbles through the day – please do reserve your place(s) below to help.
Two Systems – Two Audio Note Levels
Each Audio Note component, from Turntable PSU to Cartridge, CD Transport to interconnect each carries an assigned Audio Note ‘Level’. The guidance is to match components within each level, or a level above. For example, pair an Audio DAC at Level 2 with an Amplifier at either Level 1 or Level 3. This clever system allows careful planning of your Audio Note adventure, and ensures a balanced system is achieved at all times.
To this end, we shall be demonstrating a Level 2 system in our Classic Room, and a minimum of Level 3 in our Audio Note Room.
Level Two Room
The Classic Room will have a level two system with our OTO SE integrated amplifier and AN-K LX speakers. It’s a superb opportunity to hear what can be achieved with a very modest budget, Audio Note covers a huge range of price points and a full system can be purchased for under £10k!
Level Three Room
The Audio Note Room will have a very special system (at least level three!) featuring the Jinro integrated amplifier, a special pre/power combination and the AN-E Limited Field Coil speakers. We will have a mixture of analogue and digital, our TT3 with IO1 cartridge will certainly be in use and we hope to have something special regarding their DAC development to partner with one of their ever popular CD Transports.
