We are turning up the power for this event!
Will shall be showcasing Chord Electronic’s new Ultima Amplifier range.
Maurice from Chord will be joining us, and taking us through key steps in the amplifier range with a Chord DAVE at the heart of the system. Using the excellent ATC SCM100’s, he will start with the Ultima Integrated, before adding the Ultima 6 Stereo power amplifier and using the Integrated as pre-amplifier. Next up we swap the Ultima 6 for the Ultima 5, to demonstrate the change more watts brings (the Ultima 6 being 180w, and the Ultima 5 some 350w).
Finally we shall change the Integrated for the dedicated Ultima 3 Pre, to become a more traditional pre/power combination with the Ultima 5 power amplifier.
Maurice always brings a diverse and interesting playlist, so should be a great listening session.
