OK so where does the time go? It’s Spring now here at ‘The Barn’, and we first leaked teaser images of our new demo rooms back in our Christmas newsletter! Well here we go then with the full unveiling, even if some of you may have already visited and enjoyed the new rooms.
So what’s new?
2 new rooms have now been created. ‘The Classic Room’ and ‘The Valve Room’ join our “Cinema Room’ and ‘High-End Room’. The names are self explanatory, but essentially the Classic Room features the best of traditional UK hi-fi brands. So Naim, Linn, Rega, ATC and Kudos to name a few. Of course, there are global brands to be found as well, as long as they fulfil our criteria of sounding ‘musical’.
Our ‘Valve Room’ on the other hand, features a wide range of Audio Note hi-fi, both Analogue and Digital with a range of loudspeakers to suit. Everything is flexible of course. Want to listen to a Vertere and Rega turntable on an Audio Note amplifier..no problem, and vice versa. We can easily mix and match systems to accommodate your demo.
What hasn’t changed?
The Home Cinema Room is in full swing now, and able to show off modest free-standing cinema setups, to a fully bespoke custom install, with hidden speakers, remote controlled lighting solution and everything you would expect from a jaw dropping cinema experience. It’s well worth the experience!!
The original demo space remains, and is now loosely referred to as the ‘High-End Room’…essentially the space which suits bigger loudspeakers and pre-power amplification/multi box sources etc.
We like to think we have now achieved something for everyone. Choose the room which best suits your home listening space, and we can offer a relaxed, unhurried and pressure free audition with plenty of expert guidance with tea and coffee regularly supplied!
